i wrote to ron wyden. he sent me a form letter. darlene hooley (corvallis) wrote me personal letters for three years, so hmmf. still, his secretary did write back addressing the issues i brought up. the real reason i'm posting this item? snail-mail citizen letters are counted. i understand congress looks at each letter a person takes the time to research and write to a senator or representative as equivalent to the opinions of two thousand other people who feel the same way but couldn't for whatever reason write in too. them are purdy nice odds, folks. just sayin'.
