Breakfast is Best
Breakfast at the Tin Shed is dynamite! There dinner menu isn't as tremendous, but it is definately an adventure (which sometimes fails). All in all a great place to eat with wonderful cocktails. - , posted 07/31/07

Best damn menu ever!
These folks have put together the most mouthwatering menu around. It's quite short by restaurant standard but that's because they have picked and crafted each item with extreme care. You can literally order ANYTHING on the menu and be delighted! Try the potato pancakes! or the pesto burrito! or the heartless artichoke sandwich! Oh my mouth is watering just writing about it! - Geahk , posted 04/11/07

Fantastic!
Great staff, beautiful building, yummy food! I've only been there for breakfast, (they also do lunch) and I find you get much food for medium money. Basic "homestyle" cooking, with an urban twist. The ol' standby Biscuts n Gravy served in a big bowl is heaven.
If it is a nice sunny day, sit outside in the pretty garden area where there are about 7 tables, some with umbrellas. There is a separate sitting (only) area with a nice shade tree , benches and a trellis.
Coffee is basically serve yourself, which I like. Keeps the wait staff freed up for other patrons, and you don't have to wait around for another cup.
First time I ate here it was pretty quick, but be ready to wait a bit when it gets busy. As in, you could be waiting over an hour. People sit and talk for quite awhile, and the food can sometimes take quite a bit to be served. - Kalii , posted 04/11/07

Cozy Outside Seating, Great Food, Perfect Place
Tin Shed is the best cozy restaurant in Portland! It's garden area seating is open year-round and dogs are welcomed. The food is awesome, especially breakfast. The service is delightful. Very down to earth place in the heart of the Alberta District. - Jamie , posted 06/17/05
