This is a really cool little shop
I like this place a lot. The music selection isn't the widest in the world, but it's still pretty neat. Great idea. They should serve coffe there or something. it would be a good marketing tactic. - Shayla , posted 05/25/05

New Kind of CD Music Store
Ok so ignore my rating since I'm biased... but The Sensory is a new kind of CD music store. When you walk in you won't see racks of CDs as you would in a conventional music store. Instead we have comfortable chairs and couches where you can have a seat and listen to music using a touchscreen and headphones. You can stay and listen as long as you like. If you find a CD you want to buy, we have
them here in stock. Soon I'll also be carrying local music (hey bands -- stop by with a copy of your CD!). As far as I know, this is the first music store of its kind anywhere, so it's one more unique thing that you can find only in Portland. Currently open 4-9 PM (and usually later) every day (including weekends) at SE Belmont & 35th, on 35th behind the Pro Sound & Lighting store... just look for the blue lights. - The Sensory , posted 02/02/05
