Platial lets you make your own atlases of the stuff that's important to you. Want to make a map of where you took your photos on Flickr, or a map of 24-hour restaurants or neat graffiti in your town or places where people broke your heart? Platial will let you do it, add photos and web links, embed it in your website, publish it as an RSS feed, broadcast it in Google Earth, and it gives you the option of letting other people add to it. I personally use Platial like a blog that's based on location of events rather than the chronology of when they happened, but that's just one thing you can do with it.
