N. Seneca & St. Johns Portland, OR 97203 Widely considered to have the finest disc golf course in the state, St. Johns' Pier Park is amazing for its size and it's decidedly un-parklike feel. It's more of a friendly forest than what you'd consider a park. Filled with towering blue spruce trees, you feel like you could get lost in it, but you can't. There are plenty of trails and picnic areas, softball fields and basketball courts. Plus a small public pool open in the summer. Worth the trip out to the Peninsula! - Mark , posted 06/01/05 |
