Lots for the $
Huge portions, coffee while you wait, high ceilings = nice place. However, don't go really hungry -- I have been here many times and the wait for food can be long (esp. on a Sunday brunch run). - Serena , posted 10/12/06

Okay so gravy is on the main st. of good old Mississippi AVE. but venture off the street on the side street right by gravy and you'll find EQUINOX which has a much nicer setting, more space, more peace, way less of a crowd and super food. TRY it! - Elisabeth , posted 09/28/05

true gem of a breakfast joint
my lady and I had breakfast at Gravy the week they opened, and have been back at least a couple of times a month ever since! And the best part is... it's only eight blocks from my house! - Unsubscribed , posted 09/14/05

My new regular breakfast place!
I have been looking for just the right weekend breakfast place that has your classic breakfast choices as well as your veggie/vegan options. Gravy is the place! Excellent food! Friendly service! They even have toys and books for the kids! Also loved having a fiddler and guitarist playing while I enjoyed my yummy Tofu scramble! You can't beat it! - Julie , posted 07/06/05

Yummy!!
Great great food, good people. Nice back room to hang out in. Try the salmon salad. And head over to Mississippi Studios afterwards for some good music. - Jess , posted 06/17/05

Great Place to See Live Jazz / Blues
I had a fantastic night and a live blues open mike night, I think Thursdays. Really fun amazing music, yummy cocktails. All my friends tell me they have a great Sunday Brunch too, but be prepared for a line. - Kirk , posted 06/01/05

Amazingly creative
This is one of the best breakfast resturaunts in the city, its theme is gravy. But you can be vegan omnivore etc and still appreciate it. I recomend the biscuts with almond gravy flaky and sweet, simply amazing. - Unsubscribed , posted 06/01/05
