I love these guys! Saw them live for the first time (finally!) at the Portland Pirates Festival. They can really get a crowd jumping!
Check it out - they'll be debuting on-stage with the Oregon Children's Theatre in a production that is sure to please pirates small and big alike:
The Ghosts of Treasure Island
Keller Auditorium
April 20, 26 & 27
2008
Swaggerin’ scallywags, boisterous buccaneers, it’s Long John Silver and the gang in a wild and wacky eye-patched musical starring Portland’s own Captain Bogg & Salty. Sure to be Portland’s family hit of spring 2008–the best way to guarantee seats is to subscribe now!
Sign-interpreted: April 26, 2 p.m.

Best Pirate Band since Pirate Jenny! Which is a good thing, since Captain Bogg & Salty is comprised of members of Pirate Jenny, the original hard-rocking, finest-kind pirate rock band. You can't go wrong with the music of Captain Bogg & Salty, Pirate Jenny, or Kevin Hendrickson himself, who's just released a solo CD. Go forth, ye scabrous seadogs, and give 'em a good listen!
