A Portland Classic
They've probably still got surplus Hittite warrior's kilts from their grand opening somewhere in the back room. Andy & Bax has changed a bit over the years. They've moved more to the general outdoor goods and white water rafting supplies and further from classic military surplus. What they have tends more towards clothing and includes less other soldier's supplies than it used to. And a lot of that is "military style" rather than the Bulgarian underwear and Ausralian boots that used to show up. But there's still enough to make it the go-to location. I used to go there for cheap MREs, but those are hard to find anywhere these days.
Prices on knives are middle of the road. Don't expect any terrific deals on the name brands except for the once or twice a year "Get rid of all the old junk that isn't moving" sales.
The stuff hanging from the walls is interesting and amusing, well worth a visit just to look at.
