For the Fall (September), I'm looking to share housing. I prefer to live near Tabor or in Sellwood. I will consider other Southeast locations, too, though.
About me: I mainly care about gardening and adult communication. This means that I will be very happy and content with outdoor ground space in which I can tinker and putter with plants, soil, water, and mulch. It also means that I am looking for housemates who understand how to communicate without being passive-aggressive. These two things are very important to me. The latter might sound like basic stuff but I've been surprised how some people just don't know how to communicate like sensible adults.
Other than that, I'm pretty mellow and like to listen to music and hang out with my boyfriend, be on my computer and watch movies, craft and sew, do artwork, be outside, and chill out. I go to festivals and parties regularly, too. I'm friendly to all personal choices that do not involve drug or people/animal/environment abuse. I work in an environmental office and as a landscape designer. I sing and dance on a Vaudeville troupe and plan to learn to play electric guitar and other instruments, but I would keep the amp volume tolerable of course or use headphones.
I want a nonsmoking home. I prefer a house but it could be a ground-level apartment or duplex with a yard. I'm looking to move in around September or October. I am posting now so that I can find a suitable home, and that also will allow for a lot of flexibility if you're not currently in an established space yet, too, and it means I'll be available if the new housemate you choose during that time doesn't work out and you need to go back to your search.
I have a cat. He is well-behaved and approachable.
So that's me; what about you?
Thanks.
