It seems the newest owner of the Skidmore building have a dislike for one of Portland's greatest open air markets.
They would rather see our beloved market moved else where because they dislike the kinds of venders and crowds that the PSM brings in.
There is hope! PSM is in negotiation with the new owner to stay where they are. But PSM is also scouting new locations as well.
At the end of this season, Dec. 24, PSM will close as always and it is unclear where it will reopen.
On top of this, ALL of the business in the Skidmore build are being forced to move or shut down completely! Many have already closed their doors and several will be shutting down permanently.
So if there is something you have been putting off getting, I suggest that you not put it off any longer.
