Hi all.
Im offering private instruction again in 2008 for those interested in learning about home audio production, or sharpening the skills they already have. My focus is in helping you understand your audio production tools, so that you are able to get the ideas out of your head and not be frustrated by technology or distracted by process.
Skills I am offering instruction in:
MIDI programming/Sequencing (Drum Programming, Automation, etc.)
Sound design and synthesis (VSTs, Analog, Digital and Analog Modular, DSP, Sampling, Granular Synthesis)
Audio Mixing (EQ, Dynamics, Compression, FX, Basic Mastering, Convolution Processing, etc.)
Home Recording
Data Management (Processing audio files, setting up for remix, file formats/storage, etc.)
The Art Of The Remix (creative tools for manipulating and restructuring audio)
Production Acumen (Transitions, audio fades, outside the box tricks)
I am able to teach the software of your choice like: Ableton Live, Cubase, Fruity Loops, Reaktor, Kontakt, Battery, etc.
Instruction is one on one, though I will consider discount for groups of 2. My goal is to help you overcome any hurdles with your computer and the process of making music so that you are free to express yourself.
