I made this dome about 5 years ago, it's been to burning man only twice.
Made from 1" steel conduit. I have a parachute and a "skirt" that I made to cover the bottom. It can be mostly dust free with this arrangement of covers and it's easy to vent if the parachute is lifted. My friend has one exactly like it that he didn't build himself and he paid $1200.
