PRA is moving to a new location, so we're holding an electronic music benefit show to raise funds. There will be everything between live PA acts and DJs from local talent and our headliner from England. See you there!!
Moss (Pork Records, UK)
Moss is Mancunian flute and sax player Bernard Moss. He worked with a lot of bands in the Manchester area like: Kalima, Swamp Children, Sub Sub, A Certain Ratio and Mark Brydon's Cloud Nine.
He has been a contributor to the Pork sty for many years, working on albums by Fila Brazillia, Bullitnuts, Solid Doctor, Leggo Beast and Baby Mammoth. He released his first solo material in 1998, with the Bullitnuts-produced 'Fly Ball EP'. 3 solo albums have been released on Pork Recordings so far.
Prophetnoise (Digital Organics)
Prophetnoise is a Portland producer/composer who sculpts cinematic electronic music that calls for an active listening experience. He currently has a self released CD and EP available, and is planning on having more EPs over the next year. Prophetnoise's music is all-original and sample free; he is not a DJ.
Mike Jedlicka (PRA, Optic Echo)
Mike is an electronic musician who focuses on the downtempo and ambient side of electronic music. He produces under Optic Echo Records, as well as DJing a weekly show on Portland Radio Authority. His latest album under the moniker Panmixia entitled "Invisible Friend" came out in 2008 and received high reviews by critics.
Freaky Outy (PRA, SNAP!)
Palmer is one of the SNAP! crew in Portland, and he also DJs a show on Portland Radio Authority. He's known for his flawless mixes of everything from 90's hits to recent dance 12"s.
